The Forest Hills Cemetery and the Forest Hills Educational Trust PRESENT

A WALKING TOUR EVENT — with author and historian Dee Morris

Sunday, July 10th, 2022 at 2PM

Miss Lowell (d.1894), a very proper Victorian, penned many entries concerning her elite relatives. Her candid reflections offer unexpected insights into the trials of marriage, as well as her interactions with the rural Roxbury community. Forest Hills became a favorite topic. We will pay our respects not only to her immediate family but also to Magnus Lefstrom, her trusted employee, and Marianne Orvis who designed her sister’s monument.

Admission:
$15 for advance tickets AND on the day of the tour.

Tour meets at the Forest Hills Cemetery Visitor’s Circle.

This Walking Tour lasts up to 90 minutes with frequent stops over varied terrain. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
