FOREST HILLS CEMETERY is a special place—of nature and landscape, of beauty and art, of history and culture. But it is also an active place of interment and cremation. We are committed to providing you and your loved ones with the most respectful and dignified care which generations of our families have expected and received since 1848.
Because the process of planning ahead, burying a loved one, or of cremation can seem daunting—especially at a time of emotional stress and grief—we provide here some helpful materials for you to read. Whether you are contemplating what to expect when pre-planning, or trying to negotiate many decisions at a time of need, the topics addressed in these materials will provide you with much useful information.
This information is also available as booklets. If you are interested in receiving one of these booklets, you may do so via our online Request Information form, or you may call our office at 617 524 0128, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive your complimentary copy by mail.
