DIRECTIONS TO FOREST HILLS CEMETERY

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Take the Orange Line (or Bus #39 from Copley Square) to Forest Hills Station. Exit through the Hyde Park exit and go down to street level. Cross Washington Street to Tower Street, which intersects with Washington Street at a traffic light close to the T-Station. Walk up Tower Street one block to where the street ends with the Forest Hills pedestrian gate. Follow the path as it curves to the left, and then turns sharply to the left where you will see the red tiled roof of the Forsyth Chapel and Main Office ahead, near the greenhouses and a parking area. You will be at the back of the building; go through the stone archway to the main front gate and office entrance.

BY CAR
From Boston and Cambridge:
Take Storrow Drive to the Fenway/Park Drive exit. At the top of the ramp, follow signs to the Riverway. Follow signs to the Arnold Arboretum. The Riverway will become the Jamaica Way and then the Arborway. When the Arborway intersects with Route #203 East, go straight on Route #203 East past the Arnold Arboretum. Proceed1/2 mile, stay on Route #203 onto an overpass (Forest Hills Orange Line T-Station will be on your right; ignore the sign at the beginning of the bridge which says to exit right for Forest Hills). After the overpass, go through a final rotary and take the first right on to Forest Hills Avenue (the cemetery driveway). Continue down the driveway to the main entrance. You may park anywhere along the drive.

From the Southeast Expressway and Cape Cod (Route 93)
Take Exit #11 (Route #203-Granite Avenue Exit). Go to third stoplight, take left onto Gallivan Boulevard (this is also Route 203 West) which merges into Morton Street as you pass Norfolk Hardware Store on the left. Travel 4 miles on Route 203/Morton Street. The Cemetery will be on your left (at traffic light); turn onto Forest Hills Avenue and go to the end of the drive to the main gate. You may park anywhere along the drive.

From Points West/Take Massachusetts Turnpike (Route I-90)
Take Exit 14 to Route I-95/128 South, then follow directions below "from Points North."

From Points North/Route 95/128
Exit onto Route 9 East. Follow Route 9 for 7 miles to the Jamaicaway. Take a right and follow the Jamaicaway to Route 203 East. Go straight on Route 203 East past the Arnold Arboretum. Go 1/2 mile, continue over overpass, go through rotary and take the first right off 203 onto Forest Hills Avenue. Turn onto Forest Hills Avenue and go to the end of the drive to the main gate. You may park anywhere along the drive.
